Wesley Frimpong
Austrian side LASK are reportedly in negotiations with Wesley Frimpong, the younger brother of Bayer Leverkusen's Dutch-Ghanaian star Jeremie Frimpong.
According to a report by sports journalist Ben Jacobs on X, LASK are in advanced discussions with Wesley Frimpong.
Bayer Leverkusen are also keeping a close eye on the young player's development, but a summer transfer is unlikely for the German club.
However, LASK face competition from other foreign clubs also interested in signing the young talent. With Wesley Frimpong's contract at the Bolton Academy expiring this summer, only training compensation would be required for his transfer. This makes the 19-year-old an attractive prospect for clubs looking to bolster their defence.
The right-back is expected to decline Bolton's offer of a new contract to pursue interests outside of England.
