LIVE UPDATES: Black Queens vs Cameroon

The Black Queens who are 3rd on the table with 3 points having won one and lost a game would have to overcome the prowess of Group leaders, the Indomitable Lioness who have 6 points to seal a semi-final spot. Meanwhile, Mali are high favourites when they come up against the Algerians who are without a win.

Despite promising to win the 2018 AWCON the Black Queens have scored and conceded 2 goals in 2 games whiles Indomitable Lioness have been clinical in attack scoring 5 goals and conceded just a goal in 2 games.

Ahead of the game, Ghana’s coach, Bachir Hayford remains positive on the chances of his side of qualifying and says, "Cameroon indeed has six points but they have also not qualified because in football anything can happen. Algeria can beat Mali and we too can beat Cameroon, so I want to urge Ghanaians not to write the girls off. I strongly believe that we will beat Cameroon tomorrow to get six points then we see what happens in the other match between Mali and Algeria."

Head Coach of Cameroon, Joseph Brian Ndoko told the press his team are determined to continue their successful run without a defeat.

“A draw will see us through, but that will not be our vision going into the game. We are poised to end the Group Stages with a win and hopefully, we can achieve that against Ghana tomorrow. We are going to give it our best shot,” Coach Ndoko said.

Bashir Hayford has made a few changes to his team as Nana Ama Asantewaa replaces injured Patricia Mantey in the post.
