Hello good evening and welcome to the first of two games that we will be covering today.

Ghana is in action later in the day and we know that is crucial to a lot of Ghanaians but first Cameroon start their quest for a second consecutive African Nations Cup today when they face the inexperienced Guinea-Bissau tonight who they in turn will start only their second ever African Nations Cup.

This will be the first match played at the Ismailia Stadium in the competition.

Cameroon manager Clarence Seedorf's men were surprise winners in the last edition, albeit when he wasn't involved. The former AC Milan legend has had a inconsistent start as coach only winning three of his overall nine matches in charge and he'll be hoping for a change of fortune for the Indomitable tomorrow.

Speaking to reporters Seedorf had this to say "We are serene and we know why we're here. At no moment has the team spirit changed. We have a joyful group, with players who know what appearing in such an event represents".

Whilst one team is looking to retain a competition, Guinea-Bissau however are looking to make a stronger impact this time round.

The underdogs in the last edition had one of the moments of the competition incidentally against Cameroon with Piqueti Djassi's magical solo goal. This time round they're ambitions have been lifted according to coach Baciro Cande.

"Our first ambitions is to get past the group phase and try to reach the quarter-finals, our first Cup of Nations was great exposure but we did not have the experience. The second time we have more chance" He told reports.
