Hello, its new year's eve and we have two games for you. Leaders, Manchester City look to make it a 19th consecutive Premier League win with an away match against Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace.

Arsenal will be hoping to close the gap with 5th placed Burnley when they come up against 20th-placed West Brom.

Manchester City travel Crystal Palace in Sunday's early kickoff looking to continue their impressive run.

Speaking ahead of the game Pep Guardiola said he is not fixated with the record but rather focused on beating his opponent.

"I'm not here to comment on the record," said the City boss.

"It's simple to say, 'Yes or no, do we break it or not?'. That is not what counts.

"What counts is what we have to do against Palace, and what we have to do against their four amazing strikers.

"I'm really impressed with what Zaha is able to do. When he was not on the pitch, Crystal Palace were not able to win. In the first nine games, Zaha was not there, but when he came back in, the team changed.

West Brom coach, Roy Hodgson on the other hand, is confident his side will secure "something" out of the game.

'They seem to score four or five against lots of teams,' said the Palace boss.

He added: 'Any team that tries to go toe-to-toe with them and actually attacks them runs the risk of conceding goals.

'They are doing it to everybody but the players we have are best suited to playing the way we are trying to play.

'So I'm afraid we won't have much option other than to try and do against them what we tried to do against Arsenal.

'That might make it an entertaining game for the neutral but it could make it a tough game for us.

'They have such quality in the middle and final thirds of the field and they work so hard to win the ball back.

'All I can hope is that we can at least give it as good a go as we did against Arsenal.'
