Hello good evening and welcome to the big and final game for today. This is a game that all Ghanaians have been patiently waiting for.
After President Nana Addo visited the team earlier today, to give them a morale booster, most Ghanaians will be hoping for a convincing win as the Black Stars and The Squirrels battle for three points in Group F later tonight.
The Black Stars will be seeking to register the kind of win that reflects their ambition of winning a first continental title since 1982 and sends a strong warning to the rest of the 23 teams at the tournament.
Coach Appiah has named an interesting line-up for the game, dropping big name players such as Kwadwo Asamoah and Asamoah Gyan. No many are happy with the starting XI but Appiah is convinced he has the right mix to start the tournament on a winning note.
The Squirrels, on the other hand, are eyeing a famous surprise that would no doubt rate as their biggest ever result at the continental showpiece.
The match will be the second game of the group, with current holders Cameroon dispatching Guinea-Bissau in the first match of the day.
