Good evening and welcome to our coverage of the UEFA Champions League semi-final fixture between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
The two European giants are set to square it off for a place in the finals with Madrid having a 2-1 advantage.
No team has overturned a 2-1 home first-leg defeat in the semi-final stage of the Champions League but Bayern will be taking inspiration from Roma’s historic comeback against Barcelona in the quarterfinals.
Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane who is confident of victory does not think a defeat in today’s game will bring an end to his stint with the Los Blancos
“Today I'm the coach and I want to continue at this club. But it's not important. What matters to everyone is thinking about this game and that's it. The key for us is think about winning the game and to go on to the pitch wanting to do that," We need to go out to score quickly and that's what we'll try to do."
Interim Bayern boss Jupp Heynckes is hopeful his side will make amends for their errors in the first leg.
We need to minimise our mistakes and we want to change a few things from the first leg. Changing nothing would be an error. I saw positive things but there are things to be fixed. I'll be trying to rectify mistakes; we'll try to attack. We conceded goals because of some mistakes - it had nothing to do with the organisation or style of play."
Bayern will be without the services of the injured Arjen Robben while Javi Martinez and David Alaba make a return to the squad.
