LIVESTREAMED: Ghana U17 vs Ivory Coast - WAFU Zone B Tournament

Ghana's National Under-17 team, the Black Starlets take on Ivory Coast in the opener of the 2024 WAFU Zone B Under-17 tournament in Accra at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium at 16:00GMT.

Led by former Black Stars winger, Laryea Kingston, the Black Starlets will be hoping to start the tournament on a good note.

Ahead of the tournament, the team has engaged in 14 matches winning 10, drawing 3 and losing one.

These preparatory games have not only improved the skills of the players but also built a cohesive team spirit within the squad.

The Black Starlets are determined to break the qualification drought that has plagued the nation since 2017.

Ivory Coast have prepared adequately for this tournament playing two international friendlies against heavyweights Argentina and France.

The 2024 WAFU Zone B Under-17 tournament doubles as a qualifying event for the 2025 U17 AFCON Championship.
