Labone Premier Walk comes off on Saturday

Accra, July 10, GNA - The Fourth Annual Labone Community Premier Walk will come off in Accra on Saturday, July 14. Miss Emma Owusu Marfo, Communications Coordinator of Premier Care Limited, who announced this in Accra on Tuesday, said more than 500 members within the Labone community are expected to participate in the Walk.

She said the event, being organised by Premier Point Chemist Limited, is aimed at sensitising the people to be conscious of their security requirements in the neighbourhood as well as maintaining good health status.

Miss Marfo said the event, which will start from the Premier Point to the Labone Junction through Ako Adjei Interchange to Christ The King Church through the 37 Military Hospital, the Cantonments Post Office and back to the Premier Point as the finishing point. The Communications Coordinator said the event, which is though a solely Labone community affair, other interested communities are to be invited to participate in the Walk for more interaction amongst the people.

Miss Marfo said there would be a free eye screening exercise after the event, which is to be jointly sponsored by Movie Exchange Limited, Rose Craft Enterprise, Hass and Hearing Centre, North Labone Dental Clinic, Olfen Gel Limited and Karrington Limited.
