Lalas Abubakar named in MLS Team of the Week

Ghanaian defender Lalas Abubakar MLS Team of the Week 23 for the first time in his career.

The centre-back excelled and lasted the entire duration in Saturday's 3-1 win over David Accam's Chicago Fire.

Abubakar was making his fourth league appearance for Columbus Crew this season.

The 22-year-old paired countryman Jonathan Mensah at the back and that worked perfectly for the Black and Gold.
