Accra, Aug. 20, GNA - Super Featherweight boxer, Joseph Lartey has set his sights on the vacant national title. Lartey, 23, in an interview with GNA Sports said he is ready to fight any opponent for the national title which was recently declared vacant by the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA). "I am ready to fight anybody for the title. My target is the Commonwealth Title and I want to start with the national title." The Sonia Gym product who holds a record of 12 wins, three losses from 15 fights says he has trained enough to meet any boxer on the local scene. Nicknamed 'Mandingo', Lartey added that he has overcome the shocking defeat he suffered at the hands of Yakubu Amidu last year and is ready for new challenges.
