Former Black Stars player and Accra Hearts of Oak player, Laryea Kingson made an emotional return to his roots at Accra Sempe, when he joined a group of locally based players to visit children at the Sempe Cluster of Schools, last Friday.
Kingson, who was born in the Sempe community said in an interview that, he was happy to have returned to his roots, where his football career started.
"I was born here and started community football so it was exciting coming back to the community to interact with children from the basic schools.
"We have shared our experience in life with them and we hope they will learn very useful lessons from us." He stated in an interview.
Kingson, who visited the community with former colleagues such as Stephen Appiah and C. K Akunnor - former Black Stars captain, Augustine Arhinful and other members of the local select side who participated in the Governance Cup match against T.P. Mazembe.
The former Black Stars player also featured for the local select side against the 2015 Africa Champions in the Governance Cup Match as part of activities marking the Annual Governance Weekend celebration under the Mo Ibrahim Foundation.
