Late GFA boss Ben Koufie to be buried on September 17

The funeral for the late Ghana Football Association President Ben Koufie has been slated for September 17 in Cape Coast in the Central Region.

Ben Koufie, who headed the Ghana Football Association from 2002 to 2004, passed away after battling a long-term ailment.

The former CAF instructor had battled an illness which has kept him out of duties for more than three years.

The ex-Black Stars assistant coach will, however, be laid in state in the next two months.
