Lazio's Dutch-born Ghanaian Emanuel Boateng suffers knee injury

Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Emanuel Boateng began his SS Lazio Primavera campaign unluckily after suffering a meniscus tear on his right knee.

The young centre back is expected to undergo surgery on Saturday at the Paideia Clinic by Dr. Fabio Rodia.

The former FC Dordrecht 99 youth player is likely to return to full fitness in a month's time.

He could make his debut in Italian U19 League against Chievo Verona on 9 September.
