Claude Le Roy has put pen to paper, signing a two-year renewable deal with the Ghana Football Association on Thursday.

The 58 year-old French coach becomes the new coach of Ghana's senior national team, the Black Stars.

Claude Le Roy was flanked by FA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi and other members of the executive committee during the signing ceremony.

The French coach now succeeds Ratomir Dujkovic as Ghana coach after the latter quit the job in July.

The Ghana Football Association named the former DR Congo coach as the new manager for the Black Stars after an interview process where the Frenchman beat local manager, Cecil Jones Attuquayefio to the Black Stars job.

Le Roy's first job would be to lead the Black Stars to Asia where Ghana plays two international friendly games first against Japan in Yokohama on October 4 and travel to Seoul to take on South Korea four days later on October 8.

Claude Le Roy would be outdoored to the local media on Friday in Accra.
