League to start on Dec 20

The 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season has been tentatively fixed for 20 December.

The date has been proposed by the Premier League Board but that will have to be ratified at next week’s Ghana FA Ordinary Congress at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

This is in accordance with Article 23.3.1 of the GFA Statutes which states that: “The GFA Congress shall meet in ordinary session once every football season normally before the commencement of the season.”

According to GHANASoccernet.com sources, registration will open late this month after representative have been schooled on the new computerized.

The Ghana League has been on break since 13 September.
