Legon Cities FC defender Abdul Karim was named Man of the Match in their goalless draw against Ashanti Gold SC on match day four of the Ghana Premier League.
Karim, who lasted the entire duration of put up an impressive performance at the heart of defence to help keep the Miners at bay throughout the whole game as they picked a vital point at the Accra Sports stadium.
The highly-rated youngster's display was enough to earn him the Best player gong.
The game produced some controversy in the late stages as Legon Cities players had a penalty shout which was controversially denied by the referee.
Legon Cities will travel to face Aduana Stars on match day five while AshantiGold SC will host Berekum Chelsea at the Len Clay stadium in Obuasi on Sunday as they look to bounce back to winning ways and extend their lead at the top of the league table.
