In a later interview with Vincent Asumang the Ace walker at the KESSBEN fm studios, He indicated that the media have given their maximum support towards LET?S WALK. The theme for this event is LET?S WALK which is a borrowed concept from the IAAF image building for the sport was brought up by Susana Feitor of Portugal during the IAAF Race walking challenge series. The club thought it wise to use LET?S WALK as its theme because it falls in line with its vision of developing the sport at all stages He therefore used the opportunity to appeal to individuals and co-operate bodies to come to the aid of athletes. He made mention of personalities like Kennedy Osei,Eric Nkansah etc.who are role models in the field of athletics but have been neglected by the sports administration. There is therefore the need to recognize these personalities to promote the image of athletics.
