Liberty, Okwawu play on today, others on Wednesday

Liberty Professionals would take on Okwawu United in their fifth week Premier League match on Tuesday 7 May at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A statement issued in Accra on Saturday and signed by the Deputy General Secretary (Technical), Mr Kwaku Ampim-Darko said the decision taken by the Professional League Board was to ensure that Okwawu get enough preparation time for their next match, scheduled for the same venue on Saturday 14 May during sixth week fixtures.

Meanwhile all other Week 4 matches would be honoured at the respective centres on Wednesday. Matches were postponed last Sunday in anticipation of a clash between Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak in remembrance of last year 9 May stadium disaster but which was cancelled at the last minute.
