Liberty Professionals Youth Coach off to France

Accra, Sept 30, GNA - Head Coach of Liberty Professionals Youth team, George Lamptey has left for France for a three-week attachment with Ligue One side, OG Nice. The trip, under the auspices of the Management of the Premier League club is to enable Lamptey to learn some modern techniques in youth coaching and football in general. Eric Kwame Kportie, General Secretary of the Club said the trainer has since Sunday, September 28, left the country for the training programme. Lamptey, last July led the Liberty U-19 side to second place during the 2008 Gothia Cup Tournament in Sweden. About 147 teams across the world participated in the tournament.
