Liberty Professionals will seek to continue their home wins when they host Kumasi Asante Kotoko in a week-19 fixture of the First Capital Plus Premier League at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman on Sunday.

Liberty travelled to Obuasi on Wednesday to draw goalless with New Edubiase in a clash many expected the latter to win following their 2-1 victory over Kotoko last week.

Kotoko, after defeating Great Olympics 3-2 will go into the encounter with the aim of defeating their opponent to whip their title credentials talk back on track.

The Porcupine Warriors who have being unimpressive in the second round lying seventh on the log will draw inspiration from their win over Olympics to record their second straight away win. Though Kotoko won in the reverse fixture by a lone, they are faced with a tough task due to Liberty’s fine form currently and also winning seven out of their nine home matches.

Asante Kotoko, amassing the maximum points will ease the demands on Coach Duncan who was appointed to rescue the team from failure.

Duncan will line the likes of Abeiku Ainooson, the second highest goal scorer in the league Ahmed Toure, Michael Akuffo, Owusu Jackson whilst Liberty soars on the heels of influential midfielder Kennedy Ashia who leads the goal chart for his side.

At the Wa Stadium, third placed Wa All Stars will seek to deepen the woes of Great Olympics who are stuck in the relegation zone whilst Hearts of Oak come up against Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In other interesting ties, leaders AshantiGold with five point’s adrift Aduana will take on bottom placed BA United at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium with WAFA welcoming Hassacas at the Sogakope Park with Aduana Stars visiting the Golden City Park to play Berekum Chelsea.

Elsewhere at the Essipong Park, Medeama SC will battle Heart of Lions whereas Bechem United slug it out with New Edubiase at the Bechem Park.
