Liberty Professionals pip Ashgold in pre-season friendly

Liberty Professionals defeated AshantiGold 2-1 defeat at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday in a friendly encounter.

On loan, Richard Osei Agyemang started for Miners whilst former Hearts of Oak midfielder, Richard Yamoah was given a starting role at Liberty Professionals.

Appiah McCarthy slotted home a nice cross from Amos Addai to level the scoring for the home side.

The visitors went ahead after 30 minutes through Tamimu Muntari who put the ball past goalkeeper Robert Dabuo when he connected a lovely pass from Alex Ofosu Acheampong.

With a few minutes to end the game, Brite Andoh won the game for the Scientific Soccer Lads with a spot kick.

Both coaches handed starting roles to some of their new additions.
