Liberty Professionals sold

Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals have been sold to Bryan Acheampong, according to Accra-based Happy FM.

The Dansoman-based outfit has for the past two seasons been battling with relegation and reports from an Accra-based radio station, Happy FM, the club have been acquired by a business mogul, Bryan Acheampong.

Details of the contract is not yet known but according to the report, the business magnate has bought 70 per cent shares and has promised to return the club to its former glory days.

The Scientific Soccer lads have been in financial difficulties for the past five years since the passing of Alhaji Sly Tetteh.

The club celebrated their 20th anniversary this year.
