Accra, Feb. 24, GNA - The local Black Stars on Monday began training at the Presbyterian Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon Park, under the technical guidance of coach Herbert Addo.
With the exception of players from the camp of Asante Kotoko and Bechem Chelsea, all the other invited players for the camping and training exercise were present at the training.
Coach Herbert Addo told GNA Sports at the training session that the absence of the players was due to an outstanding League game between Kotoko and Chelsea, scheduled for Wednesday, February 24. He revealed that the team will play series of low profile friendly matches before breaking camp.

The local Black Stars will begin the qualifying campaign with a game against Burkina Faso on the weekend of March 12-14 in Ouagadougou with the return leg in a fortnight, March 26 - 28, 2010 in Ghana.
The winner of the two leg encounter will qualify for the second edition of the competition slated for Sudan, next year.
