Local Black Stars thrash lower-tier side 5-0

Black Stars team ‘B’ eased past lower tier side Accra Lions as they won 5-0 in a warm-up friendly played on Wednesday in Prampram.

Before the break, leading top scorer in the ongoing Ghana Premier League Nicholas Gyan opened the scoring with a sublime finish.

From recess, Tema Youth captain Joseph Painstil doubled the home-based Black Stars lead, Kotoko speedster Emmanuel Gyamfi made it three.

New Kotoko recruit Richard Arthur scored brace as the game ended 5-0.

30 players that was selected by the technical team headed by Kwesi Appiah are being observed ahead of the 2018 CHAN qualifier against Burkina Faso in August and the 2017 WAFU Nations Cup in September.
