Lorient wants Burnley to cough up €10 million for Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.
The French side are holding out for £10million but Burnley are ready to pay £8m for the 25-year-old.
The Clarets are weighing up an offer for the Ghanaian after being rebuffed over moves for Chris Wood and Sam Clucas.
Waris, who is also being tracked by Bursaspor and Besiktas, scored nine goals last season but was unable to keep Lorient afloat following their relegation.
The 25-year-old has made 22 international appearances for Ghana, and is also on Sean Dyche’s list of targets. Burnley would need a work permit for Waris.
