The Black Stars of Ghana landed in Bamako, Mali, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, for their 2026 World Cup qualifier against Mali, scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2024.

The journey to Bamako concluded a four-day camp in Accra, during which Head Coach Otto Addo and his team conducted various training sessions in preparation for the match.

The team departed from Ghana at 5 pm on Tuesday and arrived in Bamako two hours later via ASKY Airlines.

Upon arrival on Tuesday, the Black Stars, with the full complement of the 26 invited players, will hold a training session on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Stade du 26-Mars in Bamako, Mali. The Black Stars aim to return to winning ways after their last World Cup qualifier defeat against Comoros.

In the two matches played so far, Ghana has won one and lost one, with the Black Stars currently sitting fourth in the six-team Group I table.

Four days after the match against Mali, the Black Stars will host the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

The traveling party for Ghana included Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Fredrick Asare, Joseph Wollacott, Alidu Seidu, Tariq Lamptey, Salisu Mohammed, Jerome Opoku, Alexander Djiku, Abdul Mumin, Thomas Partey, Salis Abdul Samed, Gideon Mensah, Ebenezer Annan, Mohammed Kudus, Ernest Nuamah, Ibrahim Sulemana, Edmund Addo, Elisha Owusu, and Abu Francis.

The remaining players are Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Osman Bukari, Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew, Ibrahim Osman, Kamal Deen Sulemana, and Brandon Thomas-Asante.
