The MP for the area in celebrating the club’s return donated a set of footballs and jerseys to the team as they begin their preparation towards a sustained progression into the Premier League.
“I want to thank the players and the management of Ebusua Dwarfs for their good work done this season in the qualification to the Premier league,” he said.
“It is good for Dwarfs to play in the premier league with this new stadium we have. I presented 2 sets of jerseys and 10 footballs to the team for their training.
“To get to the premier league is one and to sustain it is even much harder. I want to discuss with the players and management on how to maintain Dwarfs in the premier league and make it one of the best in the country. I have a surprise package for them as well.”
Honorable Ricket Hagan has been one of the key financiers of Ebusua Dwarfs and other football clubs in Cape Coast with regular donations of cash and football related items.
