The Black Maidens of Ghana have qualified to this year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup in Uruguay.
Ghana thrashed Djibouti 10-0 in the second leg fixture on Sunday at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
It means the Black Maidens have qualified 19-0 on aggregate after winning the first leg 9-0 two weeks ago.
In the second leg fixture, Mukarama Abdulai scored a double brace, Nina Norshie scored a brace, Fuseina Mumuni, Victoria Teye, Barikisu Rahman and Azumah Bugre all scored a goal each to seal the qualification.
This qualification will come as a big relief to the Ghana Football Association after the senior male team, the Black Stars failed to qualify to this year's World Cup in Russia.
