Majeed Waris in Austria with FC Lorient for pre-season

Ghana striker Majeed Waris is on board the FC Lorient squad which travelled to Austria for the pre-season.

The 24-year-old started training with the side last week for the recovery sessions which involved jogging and runs.

FC Lorient will spend ten days in Austria and play two friendly matches against Fortuna Düsseldorf on July 9 and the second against Lokomotiv Moscow four days later.

Waris battled injuries last season but managed to score 11 goals in 21 league matches.
