Majeed Waris named in Ligue 1 team of the week

In-form FC Nantes striker, Abdul Majeed Waris has been named in the French Ligue 1 TEAM OF THE WEEK after his remarkable performance for his side on Friday night against Olympique Lyonnis.

Waris was stupendous in the game that saw them beating the guests 2 – 1 at home.

The speedy poacher who provided an assist for his side was picked as an attacking right winger in a 4 man midfield which comprises of Luiz Gustavo (Olympique Marseille), Thiago Mendes (Olympique Lyonnis) and Wahbi Khazri (Saint Etienne).

Waris 27, seem to have settled in so well already at Nantes F.C despite being his debut season with the Brittany based club.
