Ghana forward Abdul Majeed Waris has been ruled out of the French Ligue II game between Lorient and Valenciennes tonight.
The Lorient forward is reported not to have recovered in time for the game against his former side.
Abdul Majeed Waris could not train on Monday and Tuesday but returned on Wednesday to go through some drills but the 25-year-old could not pass the fitness test as his side travel to the Stade du Hainaut.
The Ghanaian who has struggled this season due to injuries began the season on a quite note and after returning to squad he has been hit with another setback.
It is unclear how long he will be out, but he would be missing the game against Valenciennes on Friday night.
The former BK Hacken forward recently returned to the Black Stars squad and played the final 20 minutes of the game between Ghana and Egypt.
