Malaga ready to sign Atsu permanently

Ghana winger Christian Atsu could secure himself a permanent contract with Spanish Club Malaga, reports in the Spanish media have hinted.

Malaga are reported to have submitted an offer to Chelsea to sign the 23-year-old after a successful loan stint with the Club.

Atsu spent the entire 2015/16 on loan at the Spanish Club where he scored two goals in 18 appearances.

The former FC Porto man is expected to return to Chelsea after Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius next week.

But reports indicate the former UEFA Champions League campaigners are eager to secure the signature of the Ghanaian international.

Atsu will embrace an offer from Malaga as he needs to fight his way into Chelsea’s team under new Coach Antonio Conte.
