The Ghana Sports Ministry is preparing to meet the Ghana FA to consider a friendly proposal received from their Malaysian counterparts, Sportscrusader.com has gathered.
Sportscrusader.com can reveal that, Malaysia has indicated their willingness to engage the Black Stars in a two-legged friendly possibly in November this year.
The first leg could be played in Kuala Lumpur before the reverse fixture is held in Accra. The friendlies could be played between 9th and 17th November, the only dates reserved for FIFA friendly matches during the proposed month for the test match.
The Black Stars defeated Congo 3-2 last Tuesday at the Kintele Stadium in Brazzaville, a warm-up game that was also communicated to the GFA by the Sports Ministry.
Malaysia's football is in crisis, with sports minister Khairy Jamaluddin threatening to suspend the country’s football body after last week’s record 10-0 drubbing which has already prompted their coach to quit.
The friendly with Ghana, if successful, could be one of the key rebuilding processes for the Malay Senior National Team.
