Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Trabzonspor forward Abdul Wajeed Waris and even sent assistant manager Ryan Giggs to make a personal check on the Ghana international last week.
Giggs was at Trabzonspor’s Europa League clash with Lokeren last Thursday in an attempt to establish whether the 22-year-old is a player worth monitoring for the long-term, after the Red Devils receiving positive reports about Waris’ start to life in Turkish football.
Istanbul-based daily newspaper Milliyet reports made a favourable impression on Giggs, but its extremely unlikely that Trabzonspor would allow they only signed in the summer to leave for anything less than €15 million.
