Olympique Marseille head coach Elie Baup has Filip Djordjevic on his shopping list as a replacement for Jordan Ayew, who is likely to leave in January.
According to Mercato, Baup is a big fan of the Serbian forward who plays for Nantes and has been following his exploits – hoping to bring him to the Stade Velodrome.
The 24-year-old will be out of contract in June and it is evident he might make an early departure before his contract expires.
“Marseille is not too high. They must buy him. Lille and Lyon are also interested in him because he rarely gets injured. He is better than Jordan Ayew and Pierre Andre Gignac,” Djordjevic’s former coach at FCNA, Landry Chauvin, said about him.
