Match Officials appointed for mid-week Premier matches

Accra, Nov. 8, GNA - The Ghana Football Association has released the names of match officials to handle the 12 Week fixtures of the GT Premier mid-week league matches at all the centres.

The Top Liner in Zone A, will see Okwahu United playing host to Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Mpraeso Brighton's park to be handled by Referee, F. K. Bassaw of Takoradi.

The assistant referees are made up of Cosmos Oteng of Tarkwa and E. Nkrumah of Sunyani while the Match Commissioner is Joseph Wellington of Accra.

Referee Stephen Oduro of Kumasi would handle the exciting clash between Real Tamale United (RTU) and Berekum Arsenals at the Tamale Kaladan Park.

Assistant referees E.K. Aboagye and Edward Aidoo both from Kumasi would be on the lines with C.K. Okai of Bolgatanga as the Match Commissioner.

Referee A.N. Kotey of Accra would be in the middle when King Faisal welcomes Tano Bofoakwa to the Kumasi Sports stadium.

Assistant Referees J. Obuobisah of Tema and M.A. Dawutey of Accra would be on the lines whiles E.F. Asiedu from Koforidua would be the Match Commissioner.

The match between B.A United and Ashantigold at the Sunyani Coronation Park would be handled by Agego Azizah of Tema to be assisted on the lines by A. Armah and D. Laryea both from Accra with P.N. Akowuah of Kumasi as the Match Commissioner.

In Zone B, Tema Real Sportive would play host to Gomao Fetteh-based Feyenoord in a match to be handled by Benedicta Wormade of Ho to be assisted on the lines by V.L.K. Demakpor from Hohoe and M.A. Doku from Ho with C. Ashong of Accra as the Match Commissioner.

Kpando Heart of Lions would also welcome Accra Hearts of Oak to Kpando in a match to be officiated by E.K. Twumasi of Takoradi with J. Dawson Amoah of Cape Coast and R. Setorwofia of Tarkwa as his assistants while K. Ampim Darko of Accra is the Match Commissioner.

At the Accra Sports Stadium, Referee Osborn Darko of Berekum will officiate the match between Accra Great Olympics and Sekondi Hasaacas with Asoma Amadu of Sunyani and Obeng Manu as his assistants while the Match Commissioner is L.O. Laryea of Accra.

On Thursday, Liberty Professionals will host Power FC at the Accra Sports stadium in the match to be handled by referee Seidu Bomison of Wa to be assisted on the lines by his compatriots, Adams Ibrahim and J.K. Bio also from Wa with J.S. Bortey of Accra as the Match Commissioner.
