Match Report: Berekum Chelsea 1-0 Wa All Stars - Sarfo's solitary strike condemns defending champions

Berekum Chelsea edged defending league champions Wa All Stars 1-0 at the Golden City Park on Wednesday.

Alfred Okai Quaye's only goal on the stroke of half time gave the Blues all the points at home.

Stephen Sarfo played a short free-kick to Stephen Amankona who laid it into the path of Quaye for him to blast it past goalkeeper Richard Ofori.

Sarfo nearly doubled the lead on 88 minutes but Ofori was quick off his line to punch it off the young striker's head.

Amankona had whipped in a cross after skipping past two Wa All Stars players.
