Accra Hearts of Oak moved second on the Ghana Premier League table after posting a narrow 1-0 win over Dreams FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Nigerian striker Cosmos Kelechi Dauda struck the only goal of the game for the Phobians in the 61st minute with acting head coach Sergio Traguil watching from the stands.

Defender Kassenu Ghandi was given his debut in the team after signing on in the January transfer window.

New Hearts of Oak Coach Sergio Traguil did not change too much in the team after reposing faith in Samuel Akrugu who became the team’s first choice goalie under Kenechi Yatsuhashi.

There was a start also for Samudeen Ibrahim who only started one game under Kenechi Yatsuhashi.

Patrick Razak also started in what was his first game for the Phobians.

But in a game of few chances it was Cosmos Dauda who made the difference after scoring on the 61st minute to give the Phobians all three points with their former coach Kenenchi Yatsuhashi watching from the stand.

The win is a massive boost for the Phobians who have had to deal with news of the departure of Kenechi Yatsuhashi.
