Hearts of Oak threw away a solid first half display to end the game holding on for points after Bechem United roared back to make the game a contest.

Scottish coach Frank Nuttal still recovering from the defeat at the hands of Berekum Chelsea named Winful Cobbinah in the starting line in what was clearly an attack minded team.

Mid-week games have been challenged with patronage in the past and this game was no exception with a few Phobian fans representing their club.

Another name that has been making rounds in the media for Hearts of Oak has been the performance of skipper Thomas Abbey who was again in the starting line for this game.

Hearts of Oak started the game on fire with skipper Thomas Abbey putting the host in-front after just two minutes.

That was clearly deserved, Winful Cobbinah getting his his first assist at the Accra Sports Stadium.

One immediately became two on the 32nd minute with Richard Akrofi popping up to put the host ahead two goals to the good. That was the lest Hearts of Oak deserved after the kind of start they that, Winful Cobbinah again stamping his authority on the game. Samudeen and Paul Acquah all missed good opportunities to put to bed before Fatau Mohammed got his goal on the day, Cobbinah again the man behind it all.

All seem to be working well for the Phobians and that was clearly getting to their head when Nana Antwi Manu slotted home.

Abdul Bashiru again scored for the away side on the 56th minute to silence the stadium.

With time running out and Bechem United pushing for the all important equalizer Cosmos Dauda popped up for the 4th goal and his first goal of the season to seal all three points for the Phobians.
