Under-performing Inter Allies sparked their own revival with a convincing 3-1 hammering of Berekum Chelsea at the Tema Park in the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday afternoon.

Former Hearts of Oak forward Edward Adjaklo hit the opener for Allies with a glorious finish in the opening 10 minutes.

Young forward Frederick Boateng cushioned the lead for Jimmy Corbblah's men at the Tema Park. The 22-year-old was at the end of an eye-catching display to beautiful connect home his 4th goal of the season.

While Solomon Ojo's did little to show any intentions of pulling a goal back before the break and Boateng punished them again with a brilliant finish.

Saddick Adams who was widely tipped to cause problems for the Allies defence was kept under close check as he failed to make any dangerous incursions.

Ojo's pep talks appears to have revived his side to stage a second-half comeback but they failed to find the back of the net as Allies defended gallantly.

Emmanuel Nettey skewed through a forest of Blues legs inside the area and tried an ambitious effort at goal but his final kick let him down.

Chelsea had something to smile about as striker Saddick Adams converted a late penalty awarded by referee Prince Amoah.
