Match officials for Glo Top Four soccer tournament

Accra, Aug. 26, GNA - The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has released the names of referees to handle the mid-week third and fourth matches of the 2008 Glo Top Four soccer competition at the Ohene Djan and Baba Yara sports stadiums, in Accra and Kumasi on Wednesday, 27 August.

Referee Joseph Lamptey of Accra would handle the top clash between Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals and Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Ohene Djan stadium, Accra with kickoff time at 7 p.m. He would be assisted on the lines by assistant referee Ibrahim Badu Adams from Wa and assistant referee two Mary Seidu from Tema. The fourth official is S.B. Bortey from Takoradi with Jones Abu Alhassan as the Match Commissioner.

The encounter between Berekum Arsenal and Kpando Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara stadium which would kick off at 3.pm would be handled by Referee Vivian Agor from Accra to be assisted on the lines by assistant referee one David Laryea and assistant referee two Abigail Sowa all from Accra.

The fourth official is Alex Anning with C.K. Yeboah as the Match Commissioner. Meanwhile Kurt S. Okraku, Administrative Manager of GHALCA in a press release copied to GNA Sports announced rates for the two matches of the competition. Match three at the Ohene Djan stadium, Accra would attract 3 Ghana cedis for the Popular Stand, 5 Ghana cedis for the Osu Stand, the Lower and Upper VIP would go for 8 Ghana cedis while the VVIP attract 10 Ghana cedis. The Match Four at the Baba Yara stadium would have 2 Ghana cedis for the Popular stand, the Wings - 3 Ghana cedis, Lower and VIP stands - 5 Ghana cedis while the VVIP would go for 7 Ghana cedis.
