Matchday eight preview: Hearts, Kotoko eyeing big comebacks

After a three-day break, the Ghana Premier League returns with matchday eight action on Wednesday.

For Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, it is rather a prompt opportunity to return to winning ways after setbacks last weekend.

Following a 2-1 home defeat to Elmina Sharks, the Phobians, sixth on the table, are hoping to pick all three points in their away encounter with newly-promoted Karela United.

Kotoko, on the other hand, are expected to face a sterner test when they host Berekum Chelsea.

At the Nana Ameyaw Park, tenth-placed Bechem United will lock horns with visiting Wa All Stars, who are bottom of the table.

Aduana Stars’ clash with Dwarfs has been rescheduled due to the former’s Caf Confederation Cup midweek encounter with Fosa Juniors of Madagascar.
