Ghanaian midfielder Mathew Anim Cudjoe has penned a heartfelt statement following his departure from Dundee United.

The youngster in a statement expressed his deepest gratitude to the club, fans, colleagues, and coaches.

Anim Cudjoe's time at Tannadice Park comes to an end after a two-and-a-half-year stint with the Scottish club.

"Dear Dundee United Family, I want to express my deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone associated with this incredible club. Thank you for the opportunity to don the Dundee United jersey and represent such a prestigious institution," Anim Cudjoe shared on X formerly Twitter.

The midfielder's departure follows Dundee United's confirmation that, despite an offer made to keep him at the club, Cudjoe has decided to pursue his career elsewhere.

During his tenure, Anim Cudjoe made 46 appearances for the Tangerines, finding the back of the net five times. His professional journey began in Ghana with Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities before making the move to Europe.
