Medeama SC- Bejaia share spoils at Essipong Stadium

Medeama SC are yet to record their first victory in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup group stage after drawing goalless with Algerian side MO Bejaia at the Essipong Stadium.

The Tarkwa-based side missed a lot of goal scoring opportunities in the game which they should have won.

Coach Prince Owusu’s side dominated the game from the blast of the whistle but failed to convert the goal scoring opportunities created.

Fans at the Stadium urged the team on in the second half, but the Yellow and Mauves could not hit the back of the net as they earned their first point in the group.

What the results means is that Medeama are still bottom of the table.

TP Mazembe are now top of the summit with six points after winning their game against Young Africans 1-0 on Tuesday.
