Medeama ejected from MTN Ghana FA Cup

Holders Medeama SC have been knocked out of MTN FA cup by Liberty professionals in a penalty shootout.

Medeama dominated the first half and led by a goal to nil thanks to Abass Mohammed's strike.

Liberty after recess put up a good fight and got the equaliser.

Liberty scored all their five penalties, with Medeama missing their final kick to end reign.

Medeama won the competition last season at the expense of Asante Kotoko.
