Medeama SC goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi has no qualms with Black Stars coach Charles Akonnor for ignoring him in his last call-up for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations double header qualifier against Sudan.
Antwi, a former youth international, has been one of the top performers in the Ghana Premier League for the Tarkwa based club.
But Akonnor opted for Hearts of Oak's Richard Attah.
"I wasn't disappointed when CK Akonnor didn't call me to the Black Stars but the truth of the matter is we got a local goalkeeper in the squad,'' Nimde3 95.1fm
The former Amidaus and Asante Kotoko star also shared his thought on the resumption of the country's top-flight.
"Truncation of the league depends on the authorities. If they calls us to play, why not ? . We are ready," he added.
He also kicked against a pay-cut for home-based players because it will impoverish them.
"It was proposed by the foreigners to negotiate with the players to slash their salaries amid this virus. I will not accept pay cut because, what the foreign players received as salaries you can't compare to that of Ghana.''
