Medeama will travel to Koforidua on Thursday, July 25, 2024, to begin an 18-day pre-season training ahead of the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League season, the club has announced.
The Mauve and Yellow have announced a complete schedule for their pre-season, which starts on Friday, July 26.
The 2022-23 Premier League champions will train at the All Nations University School Field and play a series of low-key friendly matches while in the Eastern Region.
The team, under the guidance of Coach Nebojsa Kapor, will continue training on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the Akoon Community Park.
The players and officials will then head to the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua, to hold an 18-day pre-season training starting Friday, July 26, with the team expected to return to Tarkwa on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
The team will train at the newly constructed T and A Stadium for the first time on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, in preparation for a ceremonial match geared towards the re-opening of the modern 10,400-seater capacity stadium on Friday, August 16, 2024.
Previously, they had been using the Akoon Community Park, but the Gold Fields-funded stadium is now ready.
The newly commissioned stadium, which has a capacity of 10,000, features modern facilities and a top-quality pitch.
Medeama has officially submitted it to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as their main venue.
Meanwhile, Akoon Park will serve as the club's alternative venue, and they plan to use Umat Park for training.
