Medeama are set to report Great Olympics to the Ghana FA regarding the wrongful appointment of Swedish coach Tom Strand, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Wonder Club has gone ahead to confirm the appointment of the 35-year-old despite the several red flags raised.

The move has infuriated the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup, who will notify the Ghana FA and subsequently FIFA over the development on Wednesday, insiders have told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The Yellow and Mauves are demanding a staggering $300,000 as compensation from the struggling Premier League side for their failure to do due diligence.

Strand has a year left on his current deal with Medeama after he went missing while on international duty in May last year.

Medeama have officially notified the Ghana federation on three separate occasions after the aftermath of the disappearance of the European tactician.

Olympics had been warned against engaging the highly-rated coach pending prior approval from Medeama - who holds the Swedish's economic right.

But the Accra side has thrown caution into the wind to confirm his appointment which will lead to a legal showdown between the two clubs.

The Wonder club are in turmoil on their return to the elite division as they lie in the relegation trap net.

Godwin Attram, who masterminded the side's qualification back to the elite division, has vowed to resign if Strand is given the nod.

Again, angry Great Olympics fans, who hold allegiance to the ex-Ghana international, have vowed to chase the incoming coach out when he begins work today (Wednesday).
