Medeama to present FA Cup trophy to sponsors

Medeama will take their FA Cup trophy to the operation sites of their headline sponsors, Goldfields and Ghana Manganese Company Limited on Friday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

The Mauve and Yellows secured their second FA Cup crown after beating Kotoko 2-1 to win this year’s competition in Sekondi.

Players and officials will tour the operation site of their headline sponsors in Tarkwa and Damang respectively to officially present them with their newly won crown.

Workers on the operation site of both companies will get the chance to take pictures with the trophy while hailing the achievement of their sponsored club.

The team will be embarking on its second campaign in Africa as Ghana’s sole representative in the next edition of the Confederations Cup next year.
