Ghana?s Olympic football team, the Black Meteors Saturday morning recorded an impressive 3-1 win over reigning European champions, FC Porto.
The game formed part of the Olympic football team?s build up for the Athens games this month.
FC Porto playing with a second string side, scored the first goal in the 10th minute but the Ghanaian side rallied back with three goals that unsettled the European and Portuguese league champions.
The Black Meteors scored the three goals through Udinese?s Asamoah Gyan, Emmanuel Pappoe of Israel?s Moadon Sport Ashdod and Kwadwo Poku of Danish club, FC Midtjyland.
The Portuguese side failed to convert a penalty kick, which was saved by Ghana?s number two goalkeeper; Alhassan Mohammed.
The Black Meteors have gone unbeaten in five trail matches as part of their preparations for the Athens games.
